Dresden is the capital of the Free State of Saxony and is internationally known as a city of culture with numerous world-famous buildings.

Impressions from Baraque Michel - Noir Flohay in Hautes Fagnes/Belgium. The Noir Flohay area is a very special destination in the Belgian Hohes Venn. The Great Venn Fire in April 2011 almost completely destroyed this former pine forest. All that remained were burnt tree skeletons, which have their own special charm in this environment.

Garzweiler is a famous German coal mining area. Here, you can experience man's gigantic interference with nature at first hand.

Vogelsang Castle has a dark history. The structure was once built by the Nazis as a school for young people, later used as barracks. After the Second World War, the area was used for many years as a military training area for the Belgian army.

The city that never sleeps. Pulsating life and the most beautiful street corners in the world. That is New York City!

Barcelona is a city that has everything, that can do everything. Mountains, beach, Mediterranean flair and a top cuisine that is second to none.

The Canary Islands are a Spanish archipelago of volcanic origin off the northwest coast of Africa, known for its partly black and white sandy beaches. The islands are hikers' paradises.

Images of the cliffs in the spring. Portugal has a phantastic coast and mighty landscapes.

A small isle in the Northern sea called Borkum. It is a beautiful place for young and old people.

Astrophotography has inspired me since my childhood. Different techniques are needed to produce images like these. Some of the images shown here were taken with an exposure time of up to 12 hours.
